I am a Hispanic female born in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico being the oldest girl with five siblings. I was brought to Harrisburg when I was four and am fluent in Spanish. I graduated from Bishop McDevitt High School, a prestigious academia. Coincidentally, the same high school my dad worked in as a janitor 20 years prior. My life was put on hold when I married at 19 years old and had three children. After my divorce I went back to college where I sought a degree in Criminal Justice. As a parent I participated and volunteered in all the athletic organizations my children were involved in while holding two jobs for many years. I became employed as an Adult Probation Officer and eventually became a supervisor. I received awards in my career field being most proud of being a recipient of three awards from the US Marshal service as a task force officer. My life experiences have led me to my current position and passion of being an investigator for the PHRC.
