For as long as I can remember, I’ve been energized by connecting with people—whether at work events, the gym, walking my dog, or simply engaging in everyday conversations. These meaningful interactions have shaped my personal and professional journey, inspiring me to build bridges between individuals and communities who share common goals and dreams.
My career began in retail sales, where I discovered a passion for helping others succeed. That passion led me into the media industry, where I’ve built a dynamic and successful career spanning newspapers, broadcast television, cable advertising, digital media, and social platforms. Today, I’m proud to work with Advance Local, where I deliver innovative digital solutions to clients while being part of a team that values authenticity and inclusion. This environment has allowed me to thrive and connect with extraordinary people who continue to enrich my life.
Since 2002, I’ve been deeply committed to nonprofit work, beginning with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Over the years, I’ve served on boards, led fundraising initiatives, and collaborated with dozens of organizations to uplift underserved communities. My involvement with the MLK Leadership Development Institute and the Health, Hope & Hip Hop Foundation reflects my dedication to equity, empowerment, and the transformative power of leadership and creativity.
Whether mentoring emerging leaders, amplifying voices through media, or fostering community partnerships, I remain driven by a simple but powerful belief: when we lift each other up, we all rise.
