Amanda Martin
Clerical Assistant
Amanda Martin entered her role as Clerical Assistant with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission in 2022 via the scenic route. Her professional experience spans 18 years and includes positions in logistics, higher education, information technology, and administrative management. A lifelong learner, her academic pursuits have resulted in a Bachelor of Arts from Heidelberg College in Communication Media and International Studies, and completion of three course in a Master in Higher Education program. She holds certificates in transformational leadership and trauma awareness. In January 2023 she received her certification to teach English as a Second Language (TEFL/TESOL) with the teaching online specialization. Outside of work she combines her passion for travel, love of cultural exchange, and commitment to mental health awareness into volunteering with Church World Service (refugee resettlement programs), Entheos Audiology Cooperative, American Cancer Society and National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) in the Lancaster County community.
